In a heartbreaking incident reported by Carol Robinson at Al.com, a 62-year-old Calera resident, Tracy Dyck, lost his life in a collision with a school bus on Friday afternoon. The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at an intersection on Smokey Road near the Stone Creek subdivision. It was noted that the school bus had just departed from Calera Middle School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tracy Dyck was swiftly airlifted to UAB Hospital, but tragically, he was pronounced dead. In addition to this devastating loss, several students on the bus sustained minor injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
